Lash Enhancement Touch-Up: Maximum Root Density
The Lash Enhancement (Infralash) is the most subtle yet technically challenging procedure because it is performed strictly within the lash line. At Encanta Cejas Rochester Hills, we consider this touch-up essential because this area is the "wettest" part of the eye, making pigment retention unpredictable after just one pass.
The Challenge of the Waterline
Your eyes produce tears and oils naturally to protect the cornea. During the first week of healing, this moisture can "wash out" some of the pigment dots before they fully settle into the skin. This session is designed to fix exactly that:
- Connecting the Dots: We meticulously inspect the lash line to find any gaps between the lashes. We fill these in to create a continuous, unbroken shadow that makes your lashes look twice as thick.
- Deepening the Roots: If the color healed into a soft grey or light brown, we overlay a second coat of pigment to achieve a dark, rich definition that contrasts beautifully with the whites of your eyes.
- Bottom Lash Line Check: If you opted for the bottom lid enhancement, this is the time we touch up those tiny dots to ensure they haven't faded away due to blinking and moisture.
Why a Touch-Up Ensures Longevity
Because the skin in the lash line creates cells rapidly, a single session might fade within a year. By locking in the pigment with this 4-8 week touch-up, we extend the life of your Lash Enhancement significantly, giving you that "bright-eyed" look for much longer.
A Reminder for Our Clients:
Since there is minimal swelling with this technique, you can often go straight back to your day after this quick perfecting appointment.
