ResurFX Laser or Skin Resurfacing

Hello Encanta lovers and welcome once again to our informative blog space that we create especially for you!

Today the topic is about our ResurFX laser or skin resurfacing, which helps regenerate the skin tissue, improving its texture and irregularities.

What is ResurFX?

Resurfx is a microbeam laser that uses concentrated heat for non-ablative fractional rejuvenation.

This means, it does not remove or damage the first layer of the skin (Epidermis) but heats up the deeper layers of it (dermis) without damaging the epidermis.

This laser works with fractional photothermolysis, which is a controlled damage to the cellular structure of the dermis, which stimulates collagen and elastic fibers, achieving healthier and younger-looking skin.

ResurFX is one of the functions of our ESTELAR M22 technology from LUMENIS which can be used for the following conditions:

  • Scars.
  • Deep w
  • Fine lines
  • Skin
  • Stretch marks
  • Sun damage
  • Surgical scars
  • Acne scars
  • Pore size-reduction

ResurFX laser or skin resurfacing, What to expect

Resurfx will achieve a renewed, firmer, rejuvenated, and smooth appearance to the skin, giving a vital and fresh look.

It is always recommended to do 3-4 treatments, every 4 weeks. At the end, the number of sessions varies depending on the client and their need.

ResurFX with IPL

When we talk about our Resurfx mixed with IPL  technology we refer to the treatment called Photofractional.

IPL is an intense pulse light, it treats Hyperpigmentation (on skin Fitzpatrick 1 to 3). It also helps reduce blemishes, wrinkles, and acne production.

Combining  ResurFX with IPL “Photofractional” will provide noticeable results for hyper-pigmentation, age/sun damage, fine lines, acne, and overall skin appearance.

Together they can create an intensive treatment with a greater variety of benefits.

ResurFX VS Fraxel

Fraxel fractional laser is an older technology than ResurFX.

Fraxel breaks down the epidermis so it can regenerate collagen and elasticity from the epidermis.

However, ResurFX with its non-ablative laser technology can penetrate to the dermis to help create collagen and elastic fibers without damaging the epidermis; causing less damage to the skin and giving less time for recovery than Fraxel.

In a few sessions, you start to see incredible results, taking care of your skin not only on the outside but also focusing on the most important:

Healing it and regenerating it from within.
